The Water Action Plan provides the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) with a comprehensive look at current and future water use and highlights the best management practices for managing water on the UCSB Campus.

Bren Group Projects

A unique component of the Bren professional masters degree, the group project provides students with an opportunity to solve a real-world problem for an outside client while developing a masters thesis.

The UCSB Water Action Plan

The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) collaborated with students from The Bren School of Environmental Science & Management to produce the campus Water Action Plan. The students analyzed water use data and provided recommendations to reduce potable water use on campus. The Water Action Plan will served as the students’ Master’s Group Project Thesis and fulfills the University of California, Office of the President Sustainable Practices Policy mandate.
