News:

5/13/08: Another win! Today Green Pieces competed in the final round of the TMP New Venture Competition, and we were awarded the prize for Best Business Plan, and tied with InFlowMed for the Audience Choice award. In total we were awarded $5,000.

4/16/08: Green Pieces has made it to the FINAL round of the TMP New Venture Competition at UCSB. Final presentations will be May 13th in Corwin Pavilion, all are encouraged to attend and cheer us on!

3/21/08: We have made it to the semi-final round of the TMP New Venture Competition at UCSB.

4/2/08: GROUP PROJECTS ARE DONE! All groups presented their projects today at the Doubletree Resort in downtown Santa Barbara. Now it's time to focus on winning the TMP New Venture Compeititon, as well as turning this project into a real business!

3/16/08: Our project was mentioned in the Santa Barbara News-Press in the local section today. You can read it online if you are a registered user of their website.

3/7/08: Green Pieces has won 1st place in the William James Foundation's Socially Responsible Business Plan Competition! We also received 2nd place in the separate Sustainability Prize competition, which was judged by the Foundation for a Sustainable Future. Congratulations also to the other finalists, Atayne and Biodiversity & Company (who one 1st place for the Sustainability Prize).

2/25/08: We have made it into the final round of the WJF competition (along with only two other teams).

12/7/07: Our group project has been accepted into the second round of the William James Foundation's Socially Responsible Business Plan Competition! The top 3 finalists will be announced Feb. 25th.

9/5/07: New York Home names workshop/apd as one of New York's Top 50 Designers

8/07: Yahoo! launches the workshop/apd Interactive Green House
