Course Description

In this MESM core class you will learn the principles of autecology, population ecology, community ecology, and ecosystem ecology. The course will emphasize the application of ecological theory and methods to management and sustainable use of fisheries, rangelands and forests as well as biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration. The class has no prerequisites.

Week 10 (12/03 - 12/05)

• Lectures and discussion sections will meet per usual this week. Discussion sections will focus on ecological theory in the context of environmental policy and management, but we will leave time for other questions you would like to raise.
• Assignment 8 is due Wednesday. 
• FD's office hours this week will be Monday 2-3 and Friday 1-2.
