Ecology of Managed Ecosystems

Course Description

In this MESM core class you will learn the principles of autecology, population ecology, community ecology, and ecosystem ecology. The course will emphasize the application of ecological theory and methods to management and sustainable use of fisheries, rangelands and forests as well as biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration. The class has no prerequisites.

Week 10 (12/01 - 12/3): Discussion sections meet in the seminar room this week.  Lectures per usual on Monday and Wednesday. Exercise 8 is posted and due 12/8 by 5 PM.
