Erin Bray is a PhD student at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Her Ph.D. advisor is Thomas Dunne and committee members include Arturo Keller, Jeff Dozier, and Roger Nisbet. Her research is focused primarily in large lowland rivers, altered streamflow and stream temperature, ecohydrology, and land use planning. Erin's dissertation considers the interactions between hydrology, stream temperature, and the mechanisms governing thermal regime during an ongoing large-scale flow experiment in the San Joaquin River, California, USA. Prior to pursuing her doctorate at UCSB she received a B.S. in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University (2003) and an M.A. from Brown University's Center for Environmental Studies (2005). She also worked as an Environmental Planner for Sasaki Associates in Boston, MA.
Erin's current research is supported by the California Delta Science/Sea Grant Program in cooperation with the Delta Stewardship Council and the California Bay-Delta Authority 2011 Delta Science Fellows.
